Of all the Austrian desserts, Kaiserschmarrn is definitely my absolute favorite. My personal tip: Sauté plums with a little maple syrup, mash them with a fork and serve with the Kaiserschmarrn. NEXT LEVEL!!!

Ingredients

62g flour (you can also replace 20g flour with protein powder)
2 eggs
pinch of salt
20g sugar (substitute)
185ml milk
20g butter
1 teaspoon baking powder

    Instructions

    First, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with sugar and a pinch of salt until stiff. In a separate bowl, mix the egg yolks with milk, baking powder and flour to form a smooth dough. Then carefully fold the egg whites into the dough. Heat butter in a pan, add the dough and fry over a medium heat until golden brown. Then tear the dough into pieces and brown until brown. Finally, dust the Kaiserschmarrn with powdered sugar or serve with homemade plum jam (it's in season right now ;) ).
